Self-Guided Hikes and Tours
Using the awesome arcGIS StoryMaps software, the naturalists have created some interactive self-guided hikes and tours throughout the park. Follow the links below each hike description to explore. StoryMaps works on desktop, tablets, and mobile devices!
Sparrow Hawk Adventure Trail
Take an adventurous tour of the western side of BCSP and learn a little about nature and history along the way on the Sparrow Hawk Adventure Trail.
Geology Hike
Hike the Hidden Pond trail and learn about the interesting and unique geology of the Brandywine!
Meadows Hike
This hike takes place on an open trail with mild terrain and expansive views. Its also very pet friendly!
Tulip Tree Woods Nature Preserve Hike
Take a walk with us between the trees and through the trails of the Tulip Tree Woods. This virtual hike is great for anyone who is interested in learning what makes the nature preserve so special.
Terrific Toddler Tree Trail
This hike is for our young park visitors. Learn about the trees of BCSP as you explore the forest and do an optional bark rubbing activity!
