The BCSO Traffic Enforcement Unit is a specialized division meant to focus on traffic occurrences and laws throughout the entirety of Blaine County. Speed traps, speed enforcement, DUI, are just some of the primary focuses Traffic Officers deal with on a daily basis. Our goal is meant to keep the citizens of Blaine County and San Andreas safe at all costs.
Park Rangers provide the public with hunting and fishing information and protect San Andreas’ diverse resources from poaching and overuse. They are required to carry and use firearms; they usually work alone and on weekends and holidays; and often work during the night. Park Rangers patrol on foot, on ATV, boats, and in a variety of vehicles. They investigate reports of violations, collect and preserve evidence, write reports, and testify in court.
The FTO Director has a mission for the Field Training Program which ensures that all recently recruited probationary and reserve deputies are adequately trained to a high standard. The FTO Program is crucial and is an important asset to maintain to an excellent standard as it is responsible for shaping the future of the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office.
