The BCSO Traffic Enforcement Unit is a specialized division that primarily focuses on traffic occurrences and laws throughout the entirety of Blaine County. Speed traps, speed enforcement, and DUI are just some of the primary focuses Traffic Officers deal with daily. Park Rangers provide the public with hunting and fishing information and protect San Andreas’ diverse resources from poaching and overuse. They are required to carry and use firearms; they primarily work alone and on weekends and holidays; and often work during the night. Park Rangers patrol in a variety of vehicles ranging from SUVs to ATVs to Boats. They investigate reports of violations, collect and preserve evidence, write reports, and testify in court to protect the state from the wrongdoers.
