Here at the Blaine County Sheriff's Office we have strict traffic protocol, We plan on enforcing seat belt laws as well as speeding and DUI to the fullest extent of the law. With this the BCSO has specific certifications for test kits as well as check points.
At any time a Deputy is authorized to give the full punishment's of the law to a traffic law breaker. We here at the Blaine County Sheriff's Office believe that traffic enforcement is a important job of law enforcement. Thousands die of fatal car accidents, our Deputy's reduce that percentage by 23% By being properly trained to deal with it. The number of fatality's by Drunk drivers are cut down 45% due to officers required to carry DUI test kits and being properly trained.
