The varsity coach is Scott Brautigam. He is a senior engineer and is married with two children. His softball coaching career started back in 2001 coaching his daughter’s team in Lake Ann. He began coaching at Benzie Central in 2008; 2025 will be his 18th season! When he isn’t coaching (or working) you can find him fishing, hunting, or golfing with his family and friends; or just enjoying living in northern Michigan.

The junior varsity coach is Jenny Harris. This is Jenny's first year coaching at the high school level, however, she coached middle school for several years; and played softball throughout her school career. When she's not busy at work, she enjoys hunting and spending time with her family.
