1998 The Alpha Scholarship Fund was established to help a deserving Burlington County Nurse that was going for certification, but is now open to Burlington County residents going for any degree or certification in Nursing.
1998 The first Burlington County School Nurse website was started and maintained until our webmaster, Mary Beth Myers founded E-Board. Currently we are now extremely fortunate to have a wonderful and extremely informative site thanks to Marguerite Phillips.

2000 MaryAnn Bacon and Shirley Platt (RVH) saved a students life with AED.
Barbara Milloy (Tabernacle) saved a child's life administering glucagon in a timely fashion.
2001 Marilyn Kent's (BCSNA and School Health Co-coordinator for the DOE) dream of a School Health Services Guidelines comes to fruition in October. BCSNA involved in the venture were Barbara Caruso, Judy Kiernan and Barbara Ruggue.
2003 National School Nurse Day was changed from the 4th Wednesday in January to the 2nd Wednesday in May.
2003 Burlington County School Nurses Association celebrates its 50th Anniversary.
2003 Judith Kiernan (past president of BCSNA and NJSSNA) is selected as The Burlington County School Nurse of the Year and New Jersey School Nurse of the year placing her in the top three in the Nation.
