History

During the Corona period, Cantonmentians faced various problems and many were forced to commit suicide.  Bangladesh Cantonment College Community was established on 28th August 2020 by the hands of 3 ex-cantonmentians of the Chittagong Division after many efforts how to help them. At that time our intention was to build only with college students but later on, considering the school students the name was changed and given a new name Bangladesh Cantonment Students Community The head office of Bangladesh Cantonment Students Community is located in Chittagong.  Currently, more than 1,500 active and field members are directly and indirectly associated with BCSC. Moreover, about 60000 students from 96 educational institutions are in BCSC online, and 1500 active field members.

BCSC is the organization of students of the Bangladesh Army and institutions run under the supervision of the Directorate of Military Lands and Cantonment. Institutions are mostly known by the name Cantonment institutions hence the students are known as "Cantonmentians". These include Cantonment Public, Cantonment English, and Cantonment Board. BCSC's motto is "Let's Be United". The vision of BCSC is "Bringing current and former students of all cantonment institutions in one platform".

We have created this community by bringing past and present students on a platform where Cantonmentians can seek help from Cantonmentians in any need or danger in this community. Education, Voluntary, and Cultural Organisation; These three sectors are working and implementing various initiatives.  Moreover, in collaboration with some Alumni Associations, we will set up a separate fund through which our Cantonmentians will be provided with assistance.
