I joined the ExpMMLL in early 2024 and was immediately fascinated by learning cutting edge mathematics. My classroom learning rarely touched on subjects so contemporary, so this lab was both exciting and initially daunting. By attending talks, workshops, and now a project with the lab, I have slowly seen these opaque ideas become clear. Joining this lab has been incredibly rewarding and has opened me up to the world of developing mathematics.
