I joined the ExpMML in the summer of 2026 and worked on the Geometry of Neural Networks project. I am interested in the intersection of algebra, geometry, and machine learning, so I am very grateful to have this opportunity to explore these topics. Unlike the classroom, this experience has allowed me to collaborate with other mathematicians on open-ended problems without a predetermined path forward, which is a mode of thinking that I find both challenging and rewarding.
