The Rule Book

Sometimes I'm not always going to be active. I WAS active on my big multi muse blog before, but now this blog for Hermione is my main blog. HOWEVER, like I said, sometimes I'm not going to be present.

Sometimes I'm working, sleeping, spending time with my family or my boyfriend. I will not be able to reply to you straight away sometimes. If you're a person who wants responses & replies straight away, this blog isn't the one for you.

However, I WILL try my best!

MY Hermione will be as canon compliant as usual, books and movies alike, HOWEVER, she will not be compliant to The Cursed Child, as I've never seen it, never read it.
Just a heads up!

I do have headcanons and things that I've added to Hermione to change her up, making her more of my own.

As much as I DO love my romance writing—I want to make sure I do Hermione justice on that front.

Personally, I ship Hermione primarily with Draco Malfoy, I know, scandalous, but that doesn't mean I'll close her off to other characters!

I want to write Ronmione, dang it, even Harmione, and maybe even others, I'm always open for experimentation on that front! So please feel free to come and suggest somethings to me, I'd be very open to discuss it!

For ships like these, I WOULD prefer plotting beforehand, so we know where we're going in a fashion, even if it's light! I never expect any extensive plotting when it comes to things like these, but some definitely helps!

HOWEVER—I will NOT write things such as Hermione x Snape or Hermione x Tom Riddle, and things like those. I shouldn't need to explain myself there, I'm certain that's all self explanatory.

This goes without saying, but please no FORCE SHIPPING. I live for the chemistry and building of relationships, I'd rather not be put into a position that I'm uncomfortable with.

If romance doesn't work for us, then friendships and/or familial is just as good too!! Please don't fret about that.

This is a self-explanatory rule. This is due to themes that could be very much present on this blog, which WILL be tagged accordingly.

If you ever decide to unfollow, which is valid—I would SUPER appreciate it that you would soft block me instead, it makes it so we're both unfollowing each other.

I don't hardblock unless I MUST. I have these rules for a reason, and as long as they're followed, we won't have a problem!

I, myself, use icons at any chance I get. This DOESN'T mean that you have to use them with me! I don't mind that whatsoever. If you prefer iconless, that's absolutely fine!

All the icons I've been using have been made by me.

I also like to use a mixture of small text and regular sized text. I often use it for effect, or my own personal touch, rather. I also use bolds and italics, but that's a given with most writers, I'm sure.

If ANYTHING needs altering at any time, PLEASE let me know! I'll accommodate to the best of my ability so it's easier for us both.

Yes, I dabble in this practise, but that doesn't mean they'll happen right away! I want to get to know who I'm writing with first, if our muses click together and so on.

For Mains, I allow up to at least 3 per canon muse at the very least. These will be people I prioritise, of course.

For Exclusives, that speaks for itself. This is 1 per canon muse, but I want us to be on a very... well, close level, really. So who knows if this particular practise will come into play at all.

I'm absolutely all about OCs and multi's! As after all, I run a HUGE multimuse blog myself.

Although this is true—PLEASE have an about page for your OCs! I want to learn about them, of course through writing, but also through what information they already have. The last thing I want is to second guess myself and get something wrong, you know?

People with multimuses—the same as above, though on your canon & OC muses! I'd like to at least find SOME information, but if not, prepare for some questions!

God PLEASE I am all for crossovers and alternate verses.

I've done crossovers with Hermione over on my main multi muse blog, and they are SO fun to dive into? I'm ALWAYS up for exploring what other potential connections a muse can have, especially in another fandom.

And the AU's we could do are practically endless, so please, by all literal means, throw some at me! Plot them with me! I would be actually SO honoured by it!

This theme of writing MAY or MAY NOT be present on this blog. If it IS written, it will be appropriately tagged and under the Read More / Keep Reading function.

However, I am more comfortable writing this kind of thing maybe more privately, via Discord.

EVERYTHING will be appropriately tagged, as mentioned before, this includes gore, blood, suggestive, all of the above. I would suggest using the "Tumblr Savior" extension as I tend to make my tags a tad fancy, and this extension will find the significant part of a post / tag section and will block it automatically for you! I ALWAYS make sure to add "___ TW" at the end of every tag, so please don't worry!

And if I post something that makes you uncomfortable, PLEASE tell me so I can tag it for you! I want to make sure my blog is a comfortable space for everyone!

Dark themes WILL be present, I've mentioned this before, but I will absolutely NOT write things such as r*pe, non-con, animal abuse, amputation—I think that's a given as well.

My own triggers are IRL images of insects & spiders. This is minus things like Butterflies, Ladybugs & Bumblebees. I'm slowly getting used to them, but I'm highly entomophobic & arachnophobic. I don't mind if they aren't tagged, but I'd appreciate it regardless! As I say, I'm slowly getting used to them.

If you have trouble getting a hold of me, please know that Tumblr's IMs are actually god-awful and I much prefer Discord! If you'd like to add me on there, I guess the best way to ask is through Tumblr IMs first ( I know, UGH ), but then it's smooth sailing from there!

If I answer ANYTHING from you, you're more than welcome to turn it into a thread! I know that sometimes it's easier to do things that way and I'm more than happy to do so!! As long as I'm sent a LINK to your response, then that's totally okay! Sometimes Tumblr doesn't like to notify me which is an UTTER pain in the butt, and I wanna make sure I receive everything I can!!

And my replies—sometimes I'll write a little or a lot, but that DOES NOT mean that you HAVE to match lengths with me. Not at all. I don't want people to feel like they have to match me, because you don't at all!

All I ask is that you do not use me as a source. I ALWAYS reblog memes / prompts from their sources, so I'd appreciate it if you'd do the same! I NEVER reblog a meme without a source, and if I do, that is the only time I'll let it slide. I don't want to have to start soft blocking people, which is a thing I don't want to do whatsoever.

I don't want to be used as a source, nor do I want my notifications to be filled up of people reblogging memes from me when it could be reblogging threads, reblogging my promo, asks, replies, all that good stuff.

I shouldn't have to say this, but this is a drama free zone. I'm not interested in it, don't want to be involved in it—I think that's obvious for most writers.
