Brenda founded BCC Bookkeeping out of a deep passion for helping small business owners avoid the same frustrations she experienced firsthand and witnessed.

With years of business operations as a vice president of a small manufacturing company, Brenda knows exactly what it’s like to wear multiple hats — from managing operations to handling the books, finances, payroll, NM sales taxes, HR, purchasing, freight exporting, training and development,  customer relationships and everything in between. Like many business owners, she outsourced her bookkeeping, hoping to lighten the load. But instead, she often found herself stepping in to correct errors and chasing down communication.

Brenda realized that many bookkeepers didn’t fully understand how a business operates and the importance of a bookkeeper to a small business owner.

That experience drove her to start Bcc Bookkeeping — a firm built on the belief that bookkeeping should do more than balance numbers. It should support your success.

Today, Brenda uses her 20+ years of business and financial experience to give small business owners what she once needed most: a reliable, communicative, and detail-focused bookkeeping partner. Her mission is simple — to let entrepreneurs focus on growing their business, while BCC Bookkeeping takes care of the financial foundation with accuracy and care.

With over 20 years of leadership and management experience, and 15 years in the financial services industry, Cruz brings a strong foundation of professionalism, service, and integrity to Bcc Bookkeeping. His background includes knowledge of 401(k) retirement accounts, customer service, employee development, resource planning, and light project management.

Cruz is passionate about helping others achieve their goals — whether that means supporting business growth, improving financial literacy, or simply being someone clients can count on. He also values brand building and understands the importance of doing every task — big or small — with excellence.

As Brenda’s biggest supporter, Cruz handles administrative operations, technical support, and client service. His hands-on, can-do attitude ensures that things run smoothly and that the team can focus on what matters most: helping small business owners succeed.
