Baptiste Crespim Bidarra was born in Cannes (France) on May, 12, 1993.

He received his First Holy Communion at Chartres Cathedral, the city where he pursued his primary education until obtaining his scientific baccalaureate in 2011. 

A laureate of the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in 2008 at the age of 14, he decided to continue his musical studies in Paris, joining the prestigious Conservatoire de Paris. There, he encountered the composer Henri Dutilleux and the renowned double bassist Riccardo Del Fra, legendary accompanist of the trumpeter Chet Baker. In parallel with his piano studies, he pursued musicology at the Sorbonne and enrolled at Panthéon-Assas University to study law. Eager to deepen his Christian education, Baptiste also attended seminars by historian Bruce Gordon, a professor at Yale University, in 2014. In 2016, he graduated with high honors in Piano Performance from the Conservatoire de Paris.

Simultaneously, Baptiste embarked on a career as a concert pianist. He recorded and performed in France (Théâtre du Châtelet, Opéra de Dijon, Cité de la Musique in Paris) and abroad, notably on tour in New York City (Smalls Jazz Club, New York Steinway Hall, Washington Square). There, he met key figures of American jazz, such as pianists Jean-Michel Pilc, the emperor of Blue Note, and Richie Beirach. Baptiste played alongside Eddie Gomez, Marc Ducret, Jimmy Cobb, Jeff Ballard, Larry Grenadier, among others. At Conservatoire de Paris, he crossed paths with the prodigious Domitille Degalle, whom he encouraged to study in the United States. The rest is history, as Domitille (DOMi) would later achieve international success.

In 2016, French pianist and lecturer Hervé Sellin invited Baptiste to speak at Sciences Po Paris, where he delivered an essay-speech on the rhetorical parallels between music and political discourse. Some students from the School of Public Affairs later became his piano students, a profession he has practiced since the age of 19.

His growing interest in the dialogue between arts and social sciences led Baptiste to be invited twice to UNESCO: first in 2012 for the inauguration of International Jazz Day, where he met Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea, and later for the Peace Award ceremony honoring Panamanian pianist Danilo Pérez, with whom he maintained a brief correspondence afterwards.

During this period, Baptiste became a member of Silencio, a private artists' club founded by David Lynch in 2011 in Paris's 2nd arrondissement. There, he met co-founder Arnaud Frisch who invited him to participate in the 2017 Positive Planet Awards, recognizing entrepreneurs and social actors engaged in projects blending cultural and economic issues within modern societies. At this event, Baptiste met Audrey Tcherkoff, Executive Chairwoman of Institut de l'Economie Positive - described by writer Jacques Attali as a potential future president of France -, academician Erik Orsenna, and Positive Planet's founder, former presidential advisor for François Mitterand : Jacques Attali. A music enthusiast and conductor himself, Attali introduced him to the company L'Orchestre Parfum, a recipient of the Positive Planet Award. Its founder, Pierre Guguen, invited Baptiste to compose several musical pieces associated with the brand's products, aiming to merge auditory and olfactory sensations for unique synesthetic experiences. To this day, some of these compositions remain in use by the brand.

His collaboration with L'Orchestre Parfum sparked a growing interest in the luxury industry and fine craftsmanship. In 2019, Baptiste joined the highly selective Institut Français de la Mode, where he spent a year studying the codes and standards of French Art de Vivre. Conferences held in the "Saint Laurent" amphitheater enabled him to meet and converse directly with key figures in the luxury ecosystem, including Kering CEO François-Henri Pinault, Executive President of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode Pascal Morand, and Executive Chairman of Hermès International Guillaume de Seynes. This new professional environment introduced him to Romain Trébuil,  former Purchasing Manager at L'Oréal and co-Founder of Circle Sportswear, with whom he worked on brand communication between 2020 and 2021. Circle Sportswear became the first French brand to offer high-quality, fully recycled and recyclable products in the European market. Communication then opened the doors of journalism and the world of gastronomy, where Baptiste was invited to join the editorial team of the esteemed media outlet Atabula—now called Bouillantes—created by editor-in-chief Franck Pinay Rabaroust, a former Michelin Guide expert. This experience placed him at the heart of French culinary excellence, interviewing chefs such as Alain Ducasse, Thierry Marx, Hélène Darroze, as well as the new generation of Michelin-starred talents like Charles Coulombeau, Manon Fleury, and the "prodigy" Tom Meyer. His collaboration, spanning from 2021 to summer 2022, also cemented his friendship with rising food influencer Eva Chappert-Gaujal, daughter of French contemporary artist Patrick Chappert-Gaujal.

The year 2022 proved to be particularly eventful. Baptiste continued teaching piano in Paris and had an unexpected meeting in the fall with Hugo Jacomet, the authority on men's sartorial elegance (with over 300,000 followers on his "Discussions Sartoriales" social media). Jacomet introduced him to Mathieu Preiss, founder of the brand Septième Largeur, leading to a close collaboration throughout 2023. The brand, well known among Parisian elites for its refined man-made footwear, was incubated in the fall by Goldman Sachs' 10KSB program at ESSEC Business School. This resulted in a five-year growth plan presented to the Ministère de l’Économie, des Finances et de la Souveraineté industrielle et numérique (French Ministry of Economy, Finance, and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty) in winter 2023. Around the same time, Baptiste expanded his management knowledge by joining the EDHEC Business School's Management Program (ranked 4th by the Financial Times), focusing on organizational leadership.

During this period, Baptiste also took charge of commercial operations at Septième Largeur's Rive Gauche boutique, where he met Parisian socialite Mariella Berthéas. Impressed by the breadth of his activities, she invited him to private dinners attended by artists, politicians, and business leaders, further expanding his influential network. A longtime friend of European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde, Mariella remains a key figure in Parisian elite circles.

In early 2025, Baptiste established part of his professional activity across the Atlantic. There, he develops consulting and advisory activities based on his expertise in Western social and cultural dynamics. To support this clientele, he created Westbound Insight, a platform dedicated to analyzing Western cultural codes for professional positioning, education, and career opportunities. He also continues his teaching and coaching activities.
