Doug is a two-time Grammy nominated guitarist/producer/audio engineer, who’s now retired from a lifetime of international touring and music production work. Doug's 40 year professional musical career included stints with A&M's Driver, RCA's Steel Breeze, and Crecendo's Queen Ida among others. Doug has also helped to startup multiple silicon valley pro audio companies. Doug handles guitars and vocals for BBR, as well as FX and mix automation, stage lighting automation, and audio/video production.
Ed is one of the bay area’s finest studio and live performance fixtures on bass, as well as a talented manufacturing engineer with many successful products to his credit from Studer, Digidesign, Harmon and Universal Audio among others. Ed was also a founding member of the 70’s bay area blues rock powerhouse Rockin' Horse, which to this day is a great inspiration for BBR and their modernized British Blues Rock revival sound. Ed and Doug also played together in the band Yankee with Peter Glinderman, which was the successor to A&M's Driver. Ed handles bass, bass synth, and is the technical lead for BBR.
Mark has played Professionally since studying music at Monterey Peninsula College in the 1970's
He played with the top show band Sounds of Joy, that featured the future star of Beach Blanket Babylon Val Diamond on vocals. That band later became Joyride with Doug on guitar and Michel Bastian on vocals. Michel later went on to replace Janis Joplin in Big Brother and the Holding Company. There were other projects including the band Jef Left on A&M Records, and later the Mark Gelfand Trio playing Jazz featuring that Hammond B3 virtuoso Mark Gelfand. Now years later, Mark and Doug are again rockin’ with BBR.
Brian fronted several original and cover rock bands with his powerful vocals including Maressa, The New Heroes, Oracle, The Kirby Dirt Band, plus some cameos with the Paul Godfrey Band. In the 90’s and early 2000’s Brian was featured in a number of musicals including two stints with the Gaslighter Theater in Campbell, and many additional Bethel Church Christmas and 4th of July productions. Singing solo at Shoreline Amphitheater with a full orchestra and choir was a memorable experience for Brian. Brian has also hosted a community access TV program for 25 years.
