The Mechanical Conservation was my Submission for the 2024 Global Comic Awards! A short story about Sprocket and Axis, two agents of the aforementioned Mechanical Conservation Society. They have dedicated their lives to the preservation of obsolete tech and have been sent to investigate a town that has reported that they have been run through by a species that was previously thought the be extinct, the ever elusive and destructively powerful steam train.
This story stemmed from my interest in how wildlife conservation efforts might look on a planet that is completely artificial, and a desire to draw cowboy robots, of course.
