This page lists all of the ways in which your data is collected and used while you are using BBQ League. In order to use all of BBQ League.'s features, you must agree to the collection and use of this data. We understand that your privacy is extremely important, so below we have provided explanations of what information gets used and why we need to use it. Keep in mind that you are still able to use BBQ League without providing this information, but the app experience will be limited.
Information We Collect
For the full experience when using BBQ League, we may need access to the following things:
Instagram account: BBQ League lets you login with your Instagram credentials to create an account. This allows you to avoid creating an account from scratch. If you do not want to do this or do not have Instagram, you are given the option to create an account normally.
Camera access: If you want to participate in roasting matches in BBQ League, you must turn on your camera so that you are visible during a match. Participating in matches in not required to use the app - you are welcome to watch other peoples' matches and not start your own.
Microphone access: If you want to participate in roasting matches in BBQ League, you must turn on your microphone so others can hear your roasts during the match. Participating in matches in not required to use the app - you are welcome to watch other peoples' matches and not start your own.
Device model and operating system: When BBQ League encounters an error or crash, a report is sent to the developer to aid in debugging. This report lists the device model and operating system being used at the time of the report issuance.
Third Party
BBQ League utilizes some third party services, each with their own privacy policies. Below is a list of them with links to their policies:
Revoking Consent
If you want to stop providing any of the aforementioned data to BBQ League, you can go to Settings -> BBQ League, where you will be able to turn sharing on/off for each type of information. Keep in mind that once sharing is turned off, you will need to manually turn them back on.
Changes to This Policy
We may update BBQ League's privacy policy over time. If there are changes, they will be listed in this section.
