GARDENING
While working in the garden, preschoolers develop fine motor control and also work larger muscles: gardening uses practically every muscle in the body! In gardening there is a lot of sensory learning. They practice color recognition, identify certain plants, veggies. They learn a lot of vocabulary. Plus. they get to tried foods in their original taste as soon as they are harvest.
It has been proved that gardening reduces stress while cognitively it improves attention and memory.

COOKING
Cooking with kids can help them develop many skills, including cognitive, physical, and social skills. It helps them to learn the importance and how to follow intructions, solve problems, make predictions and manage their time. They can also connect how we use math and science in our everyday lives. It also helps them develop their smalls muscles and eye-hand coordination that are very much need it to start writing. And, of course cooking help in their social skills to coopertae, share and engage with friends building their confidence, creativity.
