Notes From The Hub
There have been 2 successful Music Social-Jam Afternoons at the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre. They were held on Sunday Feb. 17th and Sunday March 10th from 2 to 4pm. People are encouraged to bring their instruments, singing voices, a friend or just themselves. About 30 people attended each time and all seemed to enjoy themselves. We are planning the next one hopefully to be held sometime in April. We would appreciate any suggestions you might have for any changes and improvements. You can call the organizers Mary Barrett 902-864-2144, Nancy/Lyle Mailman 902-864-6574, Susan Partridge 902-252-0799.
The next Spring Shredathon organized by the Hub at the Beaver Bank Kinsac Community Centre will be held on a Saturday in April 2019. We do not have an exact date yet but you can look here and we will update you as soon as we know the date. You can also call us at the Hub office 902-252-3291. Bring your personal and confidential documents to have them shredded while you wait. The cost is either a cash donation or a full bag of grocery items, which we will donate to the Beacon House. We thank Iron Mountain for donating their Shredding services.
