My name is William Gao and I'm a former high school varsity basketball player that's now transitioned into coaching and training. My main goal is to help players of all ages and levels reach their full potential. On this website, you will find a photo gallery, in person training offerings/prices, virtual training offerings/prices, and all of my contact information! Let's get better together! 👊🏀

William Gao's Basketball Experience
Playing experience:
Played organized/competitive basketball from 4th to 12th grade
3-Year high school basketball player (2 years on varsity as a junior and senior, 1 year on JV as a sophomore)
Started in 8 varsity games at point guard during my senior year (2024-25)
Started in 4 JV games at shooting guard during my sophomore year (2022-23)
Coaches' Award Recipient (won as varsity player in 2024-25 season)
Coaching experience:
Coached 4 summers of youth basketball (ages 6-12) at Skyhawks Sports Academy
Taught basketball fundamentals while helping players improve their confidence

In Person Training Information:
I offer in person training to players in Sunnyvale, CA and across surrounding cities in the Bay Area. Each training session is 60 minutes long (private or small group).
Private 1 on 1 training will be $50 per session. Each session will be tailored to the players' needs while also tackling all necessary basketball fundamentals and skills.
Small group training will be $45 per session. Each session will consist of 3-5 players and will be focused on all basketball fundamentals and team applications.
Clients can purchase a package for either private or small group training. The package will contain 6 sessions for the price of 5.

Virtual Training Information:
I understand that not all of my clients/viewers will be located near the Bay Area. This is why I have decided to offer virtual training.
To train with me online, clients can purchase a detailed video playlist that tackles all basketball fundamentals, in game applications, great workouts and drills, and exclusive tips.
The video playlist will be a one time purchase of $75. Please email williamgao714@gmail.com and ask for "The virtual training video playlist".
