Welding and Fabrication Capstone Project: Firepit

My final Welding and Fabrication Capstone Project. This features my last name and graduation year which was also the year it was created. This took about 2 weeks to make, cutting my materials using a CNC Machine and using MIG Welding the whole way through.

I collaborated with a friend, and the organizers of Gil Basketball Academy to promote and showcase the meaning behind their slogan "Hoopin for Change" as I interview coaches and players. This video earned me a scholarship check and a medal for being the best in the Salinas Union High School District.

I collaborated with my classmates to create a music video under the radio version of the song Untouchable by NBA Youngboy. This project got selected to be screened at the Maya Cinemas in Salinas, where I was also featured in the Monterey Weekly News:

I collaborated with my classmates to make a short PSA skit for suicide prevention, showing various options where students can find help.

Materials Science Presentation: Polymer Lab

Collaborated with my classmates to measure and retrieve data when mixing glue, water, and borax under different temperatures. We gathered our analysis by dropping the mix from a meter stick, and measuring the bounce before and after an ice bath.

Labratory 2: Fundamentals of Structural Engineering and Bridge Design

Collaborated with my classmates to create a wooden bridge made out of balsa wood. We put it together using a hot glue gun, and tested the strength of the bridge.
