Ms. Kim was raised in a Christian family and has loved art and music since childhood.
She has served in various church and community programs, using her creative gifts to glorify God.
In high school, she studied Oriental painting and has since followed God’s calling to teach art and music to students for about 30 years.
She believes that each student is a unique creation, made in the image of God.
Through her art classes, Ms. Kim encourages students to explore their creativity, develop their skills, and express the beauty of God’s creation.
She desires to help her students worship God through their art.
Ms. Kim enjoys viewing other artists’ work as well as teaching art to young students.
She provides a valuable connection for students before they enter high school through the Art Clubs in both the elementary and middle schools.
Through various competitions, she also encourages and motivates her students.
Since 2014, she has also been teaching piano and flute at Berean Baptist Academy.
Mrs. Kim earned her Bachelor's degree in Arts and Flute Performance from Paichai University in South Korea in 2001.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing the flute and piano, and she loves sketching ideas for future paintings.
Music and nature are her main sources of inspiration.
