I have been using Viber for Desktop (the official .deb package downloaded from ) for at least 4 normal Ubuntu versions (18.10 through 20.04) with no problem. A few days ago I upgraded from Ubuntu 20.04 to 20.10 and now the /opt/viber/Viber executable crashes on startup with the following message on terminal:
I contacted viber.com. First, they answered by proposing a complete removal and re-install. However, this was something that I have already done. After informing them so, they requested the crash dump, which I sent to them.

somehow after updating to iOS 10 whenever I try to message on viber while listening to music, the music stops playing. And when I slide up to play the music it shows this. P.s I updated viber last night to their latest ios 10 update as well.
I have one rule allow with all des and all service, filter with application control and web filter. Application control allow viber and web filter only allow some website. When use this rule, user only chat viber and can't send image to other user. Please help me to fix this error.
I get in to the viber app it just acts as if nothing new is happening. I can enter chats, settings while there is someone obviously calling me.
After 2 minutes I will simply get missed call in the call log.

I am trying to find out how to make viber desktop working. It is allowed in application control settings.
It is working when HTTPS inspection is disabled. But when is enabled it doesn't sync. I tried adding domain exceptions(*.viber.com, *.rakuten.com) in the https proxy inspection but it is still not working.
Do you have suggestion how to configure the inspection so Viber will works but also the inspection for the other sites remains?
I prefer to go into airplane mode and then turn back on wifi - easy to do - so that I don't get unwanted phone calls at $1 per minute.
I have had great luck with viber, both receiving calls from my kids overseas and making calls for work when I was there. I didn't use viber out though. Everyone I spoke to or texted was willing to load viber on their cell phones.
This problem has been solved automatically, I am not sure if it is because of IOS 10.1.1 or an update to viber app, currently it gives me a waiting beep/screen while I am on viber call and getting a normal call, didn't test yet with other apps like skype/whatsapp 0852c4b9a8
