I view jewelry as wearable art. The challenge of merging art with craft by creating a “sculpture” that has both aesthetic and practical qualities is a very exciting part of my approach to jewelry making. I explore how the constraints of wearability stimulate artistic expression and how the artistic process can, in turn, push the limits of wearability. Enameled jewelry is for me the best way to enjoy both my love for painting and my interest for experimenting with new techniques.
