Bazohli helps users generate wine pairing suggestions from recipe text or recipe webpage links. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, how we use it, and what choices users have.

2. Information We Process

Bazohli may process the following information:

• Recipe text entered by the user.

• Recipe webpage URLs submitted by the user.

• Extracted recipe content from submitted webpages.

• Pairing settings such as country, language, budget, and avoided wine styles.

• Generated wine pairing recommendations.

• Feedback submitted on recommendations.

• Anonymous app usage events, such as app opens, pairing submissions, results viewed, age confirmation, retailer link impressions, retailer link clicks, and feedback submissions.

• Anonymous session ID used to understand repeat usage without requiring an account.

• Basic technical logs needed to operate and debug the service.

Bazohli does not currently require users to create an account.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Generate wine pairing recommendations.

• Understand recipes and food context.

• Show country-aware retailer links.

• Improve recommendation quality.

• Monitor app performance and fix errors.

• Understand aggregate usage, such as pairing requests, retailer link views, retailer clicks, and feedback trends.

4. AI Processing

Bazohli uses AI services to generate wine pairing suggestions. Recipe content and pairing settings may be sent to an AI provider through Bazohli’s backend.

API keys are stored server-side and are not included in the mobile app.

5. Retailer and Affiliate Links

Bazohli may show links to third-party wine retailers. Some links may be affiliate links.

Bazohli may track retailer link impressions and clicks to understand link quality and commercial performance. Bazohli does not control third-party retailer websites and does not guarantee stock, price, availability, or delivery.

Users must confirm they are legally allowed to view alcohol purchase links in their location before retailer links are shown.

6. Data Sharing

Bazohli may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including:

• Backend hosting and database services.

• AI processing providers.

• Third-party wine retailer websites when users open retailer links.

We do not sell personal data.

7. Data Retention

Bazohli keeps submitted recipe, recommendation, feedback, analytics, and retailer click data only as long as needed to operate, improve, and understand the service.

8. International Processing

Some service providers may process data outside your country. Where required, Bazohli relies on appropriate safeguards for international data transfers.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, including if you are in the European Economic Area, you may have rights to:

• Access your personal data.

• Request correction or deletion.

• Object to or restrict certain processing.

• Request a copy of your data.

• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
