2026 News

After careful consideration, I have decided that 2026 will be the last year that I sell my mats and basket at local farmers' markets.  The cost of the rope that I use most has risen by 30% in recent months.  Since it is not realistic for me to raise the prices of my mats and baskets by 30%, I have decided to use up my remaining rope supply and inventory over the next number of months and slowly close my business.  

I want to thank everyone who has purchased my mats and baskets over the past few years.  It is heart-warming to think that my mats are on doorsteps in almost every province across the country, as well as in France, Germany, several U.S. states and even Australia!

My market days are done for 2026 but you are always welcome, by appointment, at my home studio in Bayswater if you'd like to see some mats and baskets in person.  Please email me at Bayswaterbeachmats@gmail.com to set up a time.  I will take orders as usual for the time being.  If you think you might like to order something for Christmas, I would recommend that you order soon.
