Welcome to the Bayonne Water Guardian's Page!

The Bayonne Water Guardians is a community education and awareness action group located in the City of Bayonne. Our focus is to inform and empower Bayonne's residents with action-oriented information in an effort to combat the critical combined sewer overflow (CSO) issue we are facing in our community. Bayonne Water Guardians are working to improve the quality of life by creating green infrastructure to curb sewer and stormwater pollution as well as flooding by employing various methods alongside residents of our community.

The fourth annual Jersey Water Works Conference will bring together more than 300 state and local decision-makers, practitioners and stakeholders to amplify the importance of addressing New Jersey's water infrastructure crisis, explore national models for innovative solutions and celebrate the work of Jersey Water Works and its members.


Friday, Dec. 7, from 9:00am to 2:30pm at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, N.J.

The Jersey Water Works Conference is a day-long event that will bring together more than 300 state and local decision-makers, practitioners and stakeholders to amplify the importance of addressing New Jersey’s water infrastructure crisis, explore innovative solutions, and celebrate the Jersey Water Works collaborative as an effective, comprehensive approach to achieving statewide impact.

The conference will feature:

● National and local speakers including Commissioner Catherine R. McCabe, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and keynote speaker Manuel P. Teodoro, associate professor at Texas A&M University

● A panel discussion about the approaches that work for transforming our water infrastructure

● An afternoon panel featuring New Jersey speakers discussing how to overcome the water funding challenges
