CArtersville HIgh School

Baylie Lubben

My name is Baylie Lubben, and I am a Junior at My High School. I have been chosen to participate in the Work-Based Learning Program this school year. I am employed at EverJean in Cartresville. When I get out of highschool, I would like to attend the University of Alabama. I want to go into the fashion industry. Working at EverJean helps me learn things within the clothing industry, marketing, communication skills, and learn how to be optimistic. I am a dual enrollent student at Georgia Highlands. I am taking English and Math. Dual enrollment is teaching me to be able to balance school and a career. It is also helping me become independent and learning responsibilities. While still learning to be independent, I am also learning how to work with a team. This helps me listen to others and take in ideas that could help me as well. Being a Dual Enrollement and Work-Based Learning student is/has helped me become mature and teaches me life long skills.
