Scikit-learn Open Source Sprint
November 2, 2019 (Saturday)
We are excited to announce our first Bay Area scikit-learn open source sprint! The scikit-learn sprint is a one-day hands-on "hackathon" where we work on issues in the scikit-learn GitHub repo and learn to contribute to open source.
This event is by application, and applications are processed on a rolling basis.
OUR GOAL: to increase the participation of women and gender minorities in scikit-learn and python (see Gender Imbalance)

TIME: 9 am to 6 pm

REQUIREMENTS
1. Must know Python
2. Must have some knowledge and experience using scikit-learn, the Python machine learning library
3. Must have some familiarity with Git
