Belle Analysis Workshop 20.19

Belle Analysis Workshop series was first started in 2012 at TIFR with an attempt to bring together graduate students (working on B-flavor physics) of various institutes across India. Initially it was for Belle (II) people, but has now evolved to more. The next chapter of BAW 2019 will be hosted by Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Mohali from March 1- March 4, 2019. The workshop is meant for all Indian students working on the B-flavor physics. Experts from India and abroad will give series of lectures and discuss the research work of the Ph.D. students. We expect this platform will bring theorist and experimentalist working on B-physics together and motivate the next generation to go beyond the third generation ;) and search for the New Physics. Also, this BAW is just around the time when Phase III will start. Therefore, we expect to prepare our self for the challenges to be seen in coming years.

How to reach IISER Mohali

Mohali, officially known as SAS Nagar is a modern city situated next to Chandigarh.

Three main ways to reach IISER Mohali:

• Air : Chandigarh Airport is just 9 km from the IISER Mohali and is well connected from New Delhi. Sometime there are no flights on Sunday (if maintenance is going on). From Airport, one can take pre-paid taxi, take ola or uber.
• Road : Chandigarh is well connected to New Delhi. There is A/C bus from New Delhi bus stand (Kashmiri Gate) to Chandigarh (Sector 17 Bus Stand or Sector 43 Bus Stand depending upon the bus). Mostly, I prefer Haryana Volvo service (one can do online booking and can get it from Airport PTC for which one need to take airport shuttle free of cost [10 minutes drive] and frequency of <30 minutes). If you are taking bus from Kashmiri Gate, New Delhi InterStateBus Terminal (ISBT), then take New Delhi Airport (you need to first take Airport Line and then change at New Delhi Station for Delhi Metro). or take taxi (bus is also available but may be crowded). Let us know if you need more information, we can add more information (per cases).
• Rail : Chandigarh is well connected to New Delhi (Shatabadi, Jan-Shatabadi are the preferred trains one should take due to their more reliability). Train booking (irctc)

• Flight till New Delhi :
• Case A : Train to Chandigarh : Take Airport Line till New Delhi Station, Walking distance to New Delhi Train Station.

• From Chandigarh Railway Station to IISER Mohali: See Case C

• Case B : Bus to Chandigarh --> Take Haryana Volvo or take other buses as mentioned here. Take Ola or Uber or pre-paid taxi or Auto from Sector 17 ISBT or Sector 43 ISBT.

• Case C : Train till Chandigarh Railway Station : Take Auto, prepaid auto/taxi, Ola, Uber till IISER Mohali.
