For our program implementation, we have considered initiatives like awareness campaigns, educational programs, community outreach, capacity building workshops, skill development programs, and partnerships with relevant stakeholders. We also organize events such as clean-up drives, cultural and talent festivals, and volunteer activities to actively engage the community.
Queen of Jinja City
2022 & 2023
This project started in 2022 where it run for 5months, and in 2023 where it run for 7months, we crown a Beauty Queen at the helm of each competition after several trainings and mentorship to the Participants.
The Project contributes to the cultural and heritage preservation pillar of the organization. By celebrating the beauty and talents of young women, we promote gender equality, empowerment, and cultural diversity.
Bantu Migration Cultural Festival
October, 2023
The Bantu Migration Festival (Untold Quests) is our commitment to cultural preservation. By highlighting the rich traditions and history of the Bantu “People”, this event promotes cultural understanding, heritage preservation, and community engagement. The Untold Quests is the buildup travel and discovery experience by participants during the project, 3mojor Quests happen before the ultimately biggest cultural exhibition in Africa. During our very first festival, from 6-9 October, we attracted up over 10,000 participants.
BAVUBUKA TALENT EXHIBITION & AWARDS
December, 2024
This upcoming program in 2024 focuses on showcasing the talent of young individuals in schools and institutions. It is an excellent opportunity for youth empowerment and skill development. This program will as contribute to the poverty alleviation and active citizenship pillars by providing platforms for young talents to shine and pursue their passions.
