Our granddaughter truly looks forward to her lesson with Madelyn each week. This student is a very reserved young person with both a visual and an auditory impairment. Learning to play an instrument is no easy task for her. Under Madelyn's gentle and steady tutelage, she has gained both skill and confidence. Madelyn has exposed her to both classical violin and the joys of fiddle music. Listening to them work together during a lesson is a high point of the week for my husband and I. Our young person has benefited from this time with Madelyn in ways that will follow her through her coming teen years and into adulthood, we believe.
If you’re having any hesitations in contacting Madelyn, I hope my words reassure you that you definitely should take the leap and go for it! She’s been so wonderful! Kind, patient, and very attentive to both our daughters’ learning styles. She is gentle with corrections and very encouraging when they are struggling. I recommend her 150%! We’re so happy she’s a part of our learning journey!
