About Mrs. Baughman
Hello! My name is Leslie Baughman and this is my second year teaching at STAR Academy. I am so excited to start this new year with all of these amazing second grade superstars. I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2014 with my BA in Environmental Education and my Multiple Subject credential. From there I taught 2nd and 3rd grade in Galt and Woodland.

I am originally from Wilton, CA and moved to Rohnert Park when I attended Sonoma State University. After that, I moved back home and taught 2nd grade for a year in Galt. I then married my husband and we moved to Winters where I taught 2nd grade for three years and 3rd grade for two years in Woodland Joint Unified School District. My family and I recently moved to be closer to family and I will now be teaching 2nd grade at STAR Academy.

We have a daughter that just turned two this summer and is now constantly on the move. We are expecting our second child in November this year. We also have a corgi named Phoebe and a cat name Dusty.
