Battle Report: Bellville Battle of 2025

Bellville AC hosted the final Battle of 2025 on 6 November at the Danie Uys park, and what a way to wrap up the year! Despite a hot day, conditions were otherwise perfect for a fast 5km race. The ice cold water sachet refreshments along the route provided welcome relief from the heat.

With 235 runners participating, the home crowd showed up in force - Bellville AC was exceptionally well represented at their home base, as expected!

Due to technical issues with the barcode scanner, we were unable to record the complete results as planned. An important lesson learned - end-to-end testing on race day is essential to avoid technical difficulties in future events!

Congratulations to Our Winners!

Anthony Swarts from Bellville AC claimed the King title with an impressive 16:21, while CMC's Leanda du Bruyn took the Queen crown with 18:41. Well done to both runners on their outstanding performances!

Bellville AC dominated on home turf, taking both the club speed category and the participation honours, securing them the overall victory for this Battle!
