Assignments
There will be one assignment each month. It will consist of multiple choice, fill in the blank, true and false, short answer, essays, puzzles, or artwork. They will each be worth 60 points. However, there will be more than 60 points worth of options for you to chose from. The first 30 points will count as homework and the 2nd 30 points will count as extra credit. But I can't award more than 60 points per assignment.
There will only be one due date at the end of term, but please don't wait until the last minute to send things in. I will send a reply to let you know that I received your assignment along with how much you got on it as well as post in the class forum. I will award points twice a month.
If you have any needs that should be taken into account, like assistive technology or having trouble with certain parts of the assignments, please contact me through either HOL message or the class email and we can talk about other options for those parts of the assignments.

Final Exam
There will be a final exam at the end of term worth 30 points. It will be similar in format to the homework assignments. No extensions will be granted for this and it is mandatory.
Project
There will be a class project at the end of term worth 30 points. It is not mandatory and no extensions will be granted.
Turning Work in Early
I know some of you like to get a head start and turn all of your work in early. I will accept early work.
Quills
In order to earn a quill you must complete 150 points worth of work and the final exam. No exceptions.
Awards
Battle Champion Award-given to the top point earner from each house.
Survivor Award-given to class members that earn a quill.
Dueling Award-given to class members that especially impress me or amuse me.
