Uchchaihshravas spread his wings and flew to the heavens with Nakula and Sahadeva holding on tight to his thick locks of hair. The gusty breeze didn't phase the trio, as Uchchaihshravas soared straight up to the heavens.
As they approached heavens gate, Sahadeva laid down the game plan for Nakula.
"Nakula, Uchchaihshravas and I have already planned out the entire attack. As soon as we approach the gates we will overtake Ganesha, who will be guarding the gate. He's been through a lot in his life-time and ended up with an elephant head after his dad, Shiva, chopped it off while he guarded the door for Parvati (Ganesha's new mom) during her bath. Parvati was enraged at Shiva chopping off her new sons head, and prepared to destroy both heaven and earth. He's seen great battle, but he certainly cannot protect the heavens from our entrance if he's there alone. Uchchaihshravas will immediately battle Pegasus, the flying horse, and win."
Sahadeva stared Nakula in the eyes, "I'm prepared. You need not say any more. Uchchaihshravas is prepared. LET'S GO."

Immediate silence struck the trio when they flew into heaven and approached the gate. It was absolutely beautiful with thickening clouds below and the most majestic shade of blue surrounding the clouds. Attention was drawn to Ganesha, who sat upon the palace chair and stuck out his arms to stop them from entering.
"We've received word of your awaited arrival. I want to make myself clear. You will not enter under any circumstance. You're wasting your time. We've already taken over the entire heaven and your Greek "Gods" no longer have any say over anything. Leave."
Nakula raised his sword, ran towards Ganesha and sliced right through his neck before he was able to say another word.
"Peeeeeyoooo, swoosh," the elephant head had fallen to Earth.
Nakula jumped atop Ganesha's throne and forcefully opened the gate. He then dropped and hid behind the throne. Uchchaihshravas and Sahadeva plunged through heading straight towards Pegasus. All of the Indian Gods immediately swarmed around Uchchaihshravas and Sahadeva.
A voice shouted, "THERE WILL BE PUNISHMENT FOR KILLING GANESHA."
Swords flew up everywhere and closed in on the pair.
Nakula screamed from the entrance, "UCHCHAIHSHRAVAS, UNLEASH!"
"HUUUUAAAAAHHHHHRRRRRRRR"
Flames shot out from Uchchaihshravas in the direction of Pegasus, veering every Indian God in line. The area of no flames inside the heart passed around Pegasus and kept forcing it's way backwards. The unfortunate Indian God's who were in the flamed areas dropped, fell through the clouds, and were downgraded back to Earth where Uchchaihshravas had hoped they'd learn their lesson. The fire ring left Pegasus standing there in disbelief.
"We're done here," Pegasus spoke as he slowly walked away from Uchchaihshravas.
"WAIT. We must make a new deal. A deal that is fair. There is equality in heaven. No God will take over heaven. We are all equal and deserving of an amazing life," Uchchaihshravas pleaded.
An ever so slight smile crossed Pegasus's muzzle. "Finally. Equality is what I've bargained for all along," he spoke. Uchchaihshravas returned the smile and nodded at Pegasus.
The Greek God's all found there way towards the action and thanked Uchchaihshravas, Nakula, and Sahadeva for their actions.
"Thank you. You've made all of our fight worth it," they spoke in unison.
With the acceptance of equality, Nakula and Sahadeva once again jumped astride Uchchaihshravas who then took off back down to Earth.
"Job well done my friends, job well done..."
Author's Note: This was the final showdown for the Indian vs. Greek God's. The tensions between the fight on Earth and the fight in the heavens both bring the level of tolerance to zero for both sides. As soon as Uchchaihshravas, Nakula, and Sahadeva arrive at heaven's gates the Indians seem prepared with Ganesha standing strong against them entering. The original storyline of Ganesha's head being chopped off by his father while he guarded the gate for his mom was used as a precursor to Nakula once again chopping off his head for guarding a gate. What luck, huh? After their entrance they were heading towards Pegasus to find peace and understanding and hopefully end the war through discussion. But due to Ganesha's death, the entire swarm of Indian God's were after Uchchaihshravas and the twins. To get through the commotion, Uchchaihshravas had to unleash his magical power that was finally revealed. Also, I absolutely adore Pegasus, so I wanted him to make another appearance in my storybook. A survivor from Uchchaihshravas's big reveal, the fire breather. He's a Greek mythological horse, and my previous storybook was all about him. He was the understanding character from the Greek side and ended up making the deal for equality in the heavens. The story ended with understanding and equality, making an overall lesson to speak and work things out before forcing battle, losing so much, then finally working it out.
