Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of BatteryX – Talking Battery (“BatteryX,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), developed and published by AJ Developers Team.

By downloading, purchasing, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not download, install, or use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute an agreement between you and AJ Developers Team concerning your use of BatteryX obtained through Google Play.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you. If you are below the legal age required to enter into such an agreement in your country or jurisdiction, you should use the App only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian where required.

By using the App, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms.

2. The App and License Grant

BatteryX is a utility application designed to monitor your device’s battery level and charging state and communicate that information through spoken announcements and notifications.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, AJ Developers Team grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices that you own or are authorized to control.

This license is provided solely for your personal or internal use.

You may not, except where expressly permitted by applicable law:

• Redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App

• Copy or reproduce the App except as permitted by applicable law or the applicable platform terms

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App

• Modify or create derivative works based on the App

• Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices

• Use the App or its components to create or develop a competing product

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the App or any of its intellectual property.

3. Purchase, Pricing, and Refunds

BatteryX is distributed as a paid application through Google Play.

The purchase price is determined and displayed through Google Play and may vary by country, currency, taxes, or other factors determined by Google Play.

All payment processing, billing, applicable taxes, currency conversion, and transaction handling are managed by Google Play rather than AJ Developers Team.

Refunds are subject to Google Play’s applicable refund policies and procedures. AJ Developers Team does not independently process refunds.

For refund requests, please use the applicable Google Play refund process or your Google Play purchase history.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use BatteryX only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms and applicable laws.

You must not:

• Use the App in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

• Use the App to infringe the rights of another person or organization

• Attempt to bypass, disable, interfere with, or circumvent the App’s licensing, security, or purchase-verification mechanisms

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to functionality that is not made available to you

• Decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract source code from the App except where such activity cannot lawfully be restricted

• Copy or use the App’s code, design, assets, or other proprietary components to develop a competing product, except where permitted by applicable law

We reserve the right to take reasonable measures to protect the App and its intellectual property from unauthorized use or interference.

5. Permissions and Device Behavior

BatteryX requires certain Android permissions and system capabilities to provide its battery-monitoring and announcement features reliably.

Depending on your device and configuration, the App may use:

• A foreground service to maintain battery monitoring

• Notification permissions to display battery and service notifications

• Vibration permissions for optional alerts

• Battery-optimization exemption functionality to reduce the likelihood of Android suspending scheduled battery announcements

You are not required to grant permissions beyond those requested through Android’s own permission and system interfaces.

However, refusing or restricting certain permissions, system settings, or battery-management exemptions may limit or prevent corresponding App features from functioning correctly.

For example, if notification permission is denied, BatteryX may be unable to display certain notifications.

Device manufacturers and Android system versions may also impose additional background-execution, battery-management, or notification restrictions that are outside our control.

6. Third-Party Services

BatteryX may interact with third-party services or system components that AJ Developers Team does not own or control.

Text-to-Speech

BatteryX uses the text-to-speech engine installed and selected on your Android device to generate spoken announcements.

The selected TTS provider operates independently of AJ Developers Team and may have its own terms, privacy policies, functionality, and network requirements.

Google Play

BatteryX is distributed through Google Play, which handles functions including application distribution, purchases, billing, updates, and refunds.

Your use of Google Play is subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.

AJ Developers Team does not control the availability, functionality, policies, or practices of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

BatteryX and its associated intellectual property—including, but not limited to, its name, branding, software code, user interface, graphics, icons, designs, audio prompts, and other original materials—are owned by or licensed to AJ Developers Team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license expressly granted under these Terms, no ownership or other intellectual property rights are transferred to you.

You may not use the App’s name, branding, graphics, code, or other proprietary materials without appropriate authorization, except where permitted by applicable law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, BATTERYX IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will always be available or operate without interruption

• Battery readings or charging-state information will always be perfectly accurate

• Spoken announcements or notifications will always be delivered on time

• Background monitoring will operate continuously on every device

• The App will be compatible with every Android device, operating-system version, manufacturer configuration, or system setting

• The App will be free from errors or interruptions

BatteryX’s operation may depend on your device hardware, Android version, manufacturer-specific restrictions, battery-management settings, notification settings, TTS configuration, and other factors outside our control.

BatteryX is a convenience utility and should not be relied upon as the sole indicator of battery health, charging safety, or the condition of your device.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, AJ DEVELOPERS TEAM WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, OR OTHER LOSSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, BATTERYX.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of AJ Developers Team for any claim arising out of or relating to the App or these Terms will not exceed the amount you actually paid for the App.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which a claim is based, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using BatteryX at any time by uninstalling the App from your device.

We may terminate or suspend your license to use the App if you materially breach these Terms or engage in unauthorized use of the App.

Because BatteryX is an offline utility application, termination or suspension is expected to be uncommon in practice.

Upon termination of your license, you must stop using the App and remove it from devices under your control.

Any provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and applicable legal provisions—will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to BatteryX, its features, applicable requirements, or our operating practices.

When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the beginning of these Terms.

Where appropriate, material changes may also be communicated through the App or its Google Play listing.

Your continued use of BatteryX after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which AJ Developers Team operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

However, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude mandatory consumer-protection rights or other legal rights that cannot be waived under the laws of your country or jurisdiction of residence.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect to the extent permitted by law.
