BatteryX – Talking Battery (“BatteryX,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a battery monitoring utility developed by AJ Developers Team. The App announces your device’s battery level and charging status through spoken announcements and notifications.

This Privacy Policy explains what information BatteryX accesses, how that information is used, and what happens to data while you use the App.

In summary: BatteryX does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. The App does not request the Android INTERNET permission and does not include advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs. Information used by BatteryX remains on your device.

1. Overview

BatteryX operates a background service that monitors your device’s battery level and charging state. Based on your settings, the App can communicate this information through:

• Spoken announcements using your device’s installed text-to-speech engine

• Android notifications

• Optional vibration alerts

• Local battery-history records

BatteryX is designed to operate without network access. The App does not communicate with servers operated by AJ Developers Team and does not transmit your battery information or other personal information to us.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

BatteryX does not request the Android INTERNET permission and does not make network requests.

As a result, BatteryX does not collect or transmit:

• Names or email addresses

• Precise or approximate location information

• Contacts, photos, or other personal files

• Device identifiers

• Advertising IDs

• Analytics or usage-tracking information

• Personal information for advertising or profiling

BatteryX also does not contain:

• Advertising SDKs

• Analytics SDKs

• Crash-reporting SDKs

Because the App has no network access, information processed by BatteryX cannot be transmitted to our servers through the App.

3. On-Device Data and Storage

BatteryX stores certain information locally on your Android device to provide its features. This may include:

• App preferences and settings

• Announcement frequency

• Voice and volume preferences

• Local battery-history information

This information is stored using the App’s private Android storage, including its preferences and local database.

This information:

• Remains on your device

• Is not automatically transmitted to us

• Is not synchronized with servers operated by AJ Developers Team

• Is not accessible to other apps through normal Android app sandboxing

• Is permanently deleted when you uninstall BatteryX or clear its app storage through Android Settings, subject to Android's own system behavior and backups

4. Permissions We Use

BatteryX requests certain Android permissions to provide reliable battery monitoring and notifications. These permissions are used for the functionality described below and are not used to identify you or collect personal information.

RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - Allows BatteryX to restart its battery-monitoring functionality after the device reboots, so you do not have to manually reopen the App.

FOREGROUND_SERVICE / FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE - Allows BatteryX to operate its battery-monitoring service as an Android foreground service with a persistent notification.

POST_NOTIFICATIONS - Allows BatteryX to display its ongoing service notification and battery alerts that you enable.

WAKE_LOCK - Allows the App to briefly keep the CPU awake when necessary so that a battery announcement can finish playing without being interrupted.

VIBRATE - Allows optional vibration alerts to accompany battery notifications or announcements.

REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS - Allows you to optionally exempt BatteryX from certain Android battery-optimization restrictions that could otherwise interfere with scheduled announcements.

BatteryX uses these permissions only for the operation of its battery-monitoring and notification features.

5. Text-to-Speech

BatteryX uses the text-to-speech (TTS) engine installed and selected on your Android device to produce spoken announcements.

For example, BatteryX may provide the TTS engine with text such as:

“Battery at eighty percent, charging.”

BatteryX does not operate its own speech-processing service.

Depending on your device and selected TTS engine, speech synthesis may be performed entirely on the device or may involve network processing. For example, certain TTS engines or voice configurations may use network services.

Any such processing is performed by the separate TTS provider according to that provider’s own privacy policy and settings. BatteryX does not control or operate those external TTS services.

BatteryX provides the TTS engine only with the battery-status text necessary to generate the requested announcement.

6. Notifications

BatteryX may display notifications, including its persistent foreground-service notification and battery alerts enabled by you.

These notifications are generated using Android’s local notification system and are displayed on your device.

BatteryX does not transmit notification content to AJ Developers Team or to third parties.

7. Children’s Privacy

BatteryX is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically directed toward children.

BatteryX does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the App does not collect personal information.

The App does not provide chat, social networking, user-generated content, or content-sharing functionality.

8. Purchases

BatteryX is distributed as a paid application through Google Play.

Payments and purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. AJ Developers Team does not receive or store your payment card details, bank details, or other payment credentials through BatteryX.

Information relating to purchases, payments, refunds, and billing is handled by Google in accordance with Google's applicable terms and privacy practices.

9. Data Security

BatteryX is designed so that App data remains within the Android application environment on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

The primary security mechanisms protecting locally stored App data are provided by Android’s application sandboxing and the security controls of your device.

For your general device security, we recommend:

• Keeping your device protected with a secure screen lock

• Installing Android security updates when available

• Keeping your device software up to date

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when necessary to reflect changes to BatteryX, its features, or applicable requirements.

If a future version of BatteryX introduces functionality that changes how information is handled—for example, a feature requiring network access—we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the effective date.

Where appropriate, material changes will also be reflected in the App’s Google Play listing.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates.
