1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how Cute Battery Emoji (the "App"), package name com.cute.battery.emoji, handles information.
Cute Battery Emoji is an Android customization application. It allows users to select battery emoji styles, charging effects, themes, emotions, cute animations, screen pets and Shimeji character overlays. The App does not require a user account. Selected styles, enabled features and optional rewarded-content unlocks are stored locally on the user's device.
2. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND PROCESSED
2.1 Firebase Analytics
The App uses Google Firebase Analytics. Firebase Analytics may process:
App opens and sessions;
Feature interactions and navigation events;
Selected content categories or names used in analytics events;
Advertising impressions and related format or provider information;
General device, operating-system, country, language and app-version information; and
Other app-usage information generated through Firebase Analytics.
Analytics events are not intended to contain names, email addresses, contact details or other user-entered personal information. This information is used to understand how the App is used and to improve its stability and user experience.
2.2 Firebase Crashlytics
The App uses Google Firebase Crashlytics. Crashlytics may process crash reports, stack traces, diagnostics, app state, device model, operating-system information, app version, installation identifiers and related performance or technical information. This information is used to identify and resolve crashes and stability problems.
2.3 OneSignal
The App uses OneSignal for push-notification delivery. OneSignal may process:
A device push-notification subscription or token;
Notification permission and subscription status;
Device, operating-system, language, country and app-version information needed for delivery;
Notification delivery information; and
Notification opens or interactions.
This information is used to register an eligible device, deliver notifications and measure notification delivery or interaction. Users can deny or disable notifications through Android settings.
2.4 Advertising Services
The App includes integrations for the following advertising providers:
Google AdMob;
Meta Audience Network;
AppLovin MAX;
Unity Ads;
Yandex Ads;
InMobi;
Mintegral;
Liftoff/Vungle;
Pangle; and
Fyber/DT Exchange.
The App's remote configuration determines whether advertising is enabled, which provider and format are selected, placement configuration, frequency settings and any permitted fallback order. A provider that is included in the App but disabled by the remote configuration is not intentionally selected by the App to request an advertisement.
When advertising is enabled and a provider is selected, that provider may process information including:
Resettable advertising identifiers;
IP address;
Approximate location inferred from IP address or network information, when applicable;
Device manufacturer, model, operating system, language and screen information;
App package and app-version information;
Ad requests, impressions, clicks and video completion or reward events;
Consent, age-treatment or privacy signals supplied to the provider when implemented and applicable;
Network and connection information; and
Fraud-prevention, security and diagnostic information.
Advertising providers may use information for ad delivery, contextual or personalized advertising where legally permitted and consented to, frequency control, attribution, measurement, reporting, security and fraud prevention. Available controls depend on the user's region, Android settings and the selected provider.
2.5 Remote Configuration
The App contacts a remote configuration server to retrieve advertising availability, network priorities, placement configuration, ad frequency and related application configuration. Standard server logs may process an IP address, request time, user-agent or device networking metadata. The remote configuration is used to control app configuration and advertising behavior without requiring a new App release.
3. PERMISSIONS AND DEVICE ACCESS
3.1 Display Over Other Apps
The App requests Android's display-over-other-apps access when a user chooses to apply a battery widget, charging effect, screen pet, emotion, cute animation or Shimeji. This permission is used to display the selected customization above other applications. The App does not use overlay access to read the content displayed by other applications.
3.2 Notifications
Notification permission is used for OneSignal push notifications and for the visible Android foreground-service notifications required while an overlay customization is active. Users can deny the permission or disable notifications at any time through Android settings. Some Android versions may still display system information about active foreground services.
3.3 Internet and Network State
Internet and network-state access is used to retrieve remote configuration, initialize supported services, deliver push notifications, send analytics and crash diagnostics, and request advertisements when advertising is enabled.
3.4 Advertising Identifiers and Android Advertising Services
Advertising SDKs may access the resettable Android advertising identifier and supported Android Privacy Sandbox advertising services for advertising, attribution, measurement, frequency control, security and fraud prevention. Availability and use are subject to device settings, provider configuration, applicable law and consent requirements.
3.5 Foreground Services and Device Restart
Enabled overlays use Android foreground services so that selected customizations can remain visible or monitor charging state. Android displays an ongoing service notification while such a service is active. If a customization was left enabled and display-over-other-apps access remains granted, the App may attempt to restore that customization following a device restart or App update.
4. OVERLAY AND BACKGROUND BEHAVIOR
Overlay customizations are enabled only after the user selects and applies a feature and grants Android's display-over-other-apps permission. Active services run to provide the selected battery, charging, pet, animation, emotion or Shimeji functionality.
Users can disable an individual customization from its feature screen or stop all active customizations using the Disable All control in Settings. Disabling a feature stops its overlay service. Revoking display-over-other-apps permission or uninstalling the App prevents future overlays.
5. LOCAL INFORMATION AND STORAGE
The App stores the following information locally using Android SharedPreferences:
Selected battery, theme, template, animation, pet, emotion and Shimeji settings;
Whether individual overlay features are enabled;
Pet size and movement speed;
Optional content unlocked after a rewarded advertisement; and
The advertising action counter used to apply the remotely configured interstitial frequency.
This local information remains until it is changed by the user, App storage is cleared or the App is uninstalled. Android backup or device-transfer services may back up local App data when those services are enabled on the device.
6. DATA SHARING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Information may be processed by:
Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting;
OneSignal for push-notification delivery;
The remote-configuration hosting provider; and
The advertising provider selected by the remote configuration.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies and may act as independent data controllers or service providers depending on the service and jurisdiction. The App does not sell user-provided names, email addresses or contact information. Advertising-related information may be shared or processed for ad delivery, attribution, measurement, reporting, security and fraud prevention as described in this policy.

Provider policies may change independently. Users should review the current policy supplied by the relevant provider.
7. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local App settings remain on the device until the user changes them, clears the App's storage or uninstalls the App. Firebase, OneSignal, advertising providers and the remote-configuration hosting provider retain information according to their own retention schedules, account configuration and legal obligations.
Because the App does not create user accounts, it does not maintain an account-deletion system. Clearing App storage or uninstalling the App deletes the App's locally stored preferences from the device, subject to Android backup and restore behavior. Information already processed by third-party providers is governed by their policies and available privacy-request procedures.
8. SECURITY
The App uses Android application sandboxing and HTTPS for its remote-configuration connection. Access to locally stored App preferences is limited by Android's application security model. The App limits analytics event values to app-related feature information and does not intentionally place user-entered contact or identity information in analytics events.
No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Firebase, OneSignal, advertising providers and hosting providers maintain their own technical and organizational safeguards. Users should review those providers' security and privacy information for additional details.
9. USER CHOICES AND RIGHTS
Users can:
Deny or disable push-notification permission through Android settings;
Disable individual overlays through the relevant feature screen;
Stop all active customizations using Disable All in App Settings;
Revoke display-over-other-apps access through Android settings;
Reset local App settings by clearing App storage;
Reset or limit use of the Android advertising identifier through supported device settings; and
Uninstall the App to stop future App collection and processing.
Depending on the user's country or region, privacy law may provide rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection to certain processing. Requests concerning the App may be submitted to the privacy contact below. Requests concerning information controlled by a third-party provider may also need to be submitted directly to that provider.
10. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Firebase, OneSignal and advertising providers may process information on servers located outside the user's country. Those providers are responsible for applying their stated transfer mechanisms and safeguards where required by applicable law.
11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy may be updated when App behavior, integrated services or legal requirements change. The updated policy and revision date will be published on the public privacy-policy page and reflected in the App as appropriate.
