Batter & Deaux is a small, family operated bakery located on the North Shore of the Greater New Orleans Area. Our original idea was to provide people who have an intolerance to gluten the opportunity to enjoy the festive cakes during the Mardi Gras season, however we have grown to provide items for birthdays (sorry we do not bake birthday cakes, however we do bake cup-cakes), office parties (our King Cake Bites are popular for this), Easter, Independence Day, and, well, just about any other day you care to celebrate. Our gluten free items (King Cakes, bread, King Cake Bites, cup-cakes, etc) are baked fresh to order, therefore we ask you to give us a minimum of three days notice for you orders.
