I’m a pastor’s wife, mom, elementary teacher, and home baker in North Mississippi who finds joy in every role I fill. Baking is one of the ways I share love and creativity with my community.
I’ve always loved baking for my family, but my sourdough journey began in 2020. A friend shared some of her starter with me—back when we were all trying out new hobbies. As a science teacher, I was instantly drawn to the process. There’s something fascinating about how flour, water, and time come together to create something so alive and delicious.
What started as a fun experiment quickly became a passion. I began sharing my loaves with family and friends, and their encouragement inspired me to share my bread with others.
We’ve all had bread that didn’t quite live up to expectations. My goal is to make sure your experience with sourdough is different—light and airy, with a chewy texture and a crisp, golden crust. I love a loaf with a gentle tang and a nutty depth of flavor that only comes from high-quality ingredients and patient, traditional methods.
When you order from me, you can be confident that you’re getting a loaf made with care, intention, and a whole lot of love. Each sourdough loaf is made fresh daily with organic wheat and traditional small-batch methods, honoring time-tested techniques that produce a rich flavor and texture. I love experimenting with unique flavor combinations, using only the freshest, locally sourced artisanal ingredients.
Whether you’re stopping by for a classic loaf or something new and seasonal, I hope you taste the care and joy baked into every bite.
What We Offer
You can find us at local indoor and outdoor markets, where we love sharing our fresh sourdough and baked goods with our community. We’re also happy to provide trays of sourdough slices for your next breakfast, brunch, or lunch event — perfect for gatherings big or small.
Looking for something a little extra? We make special sourdough treats too — cookies, scones, focaccia, and more, all made with the same care and warmth that goes into every loaf.
If you have an event or special occasion coming up, I’d love to bake for you. Just reach out and we’ll make something wonderful together.
This was my set up at the Olive Branch farmer's market in 2025.
Our Process
There’s something truly special about sourdough — it’s simple, but never rushed. Each loaf begins with just three ingredients: flour, water, and salt. From there, time and care do the rest.
Our starter — the heart of every loaf — is nurtured daily, full of wild yeast and good bacteria that bring the bread to life. The dough is mixed gently and left to rest, allowing it to rise slowly and develop that beautiful tang and depth of flavor that only sourdough can offer.
Every batch is shaped by hand, then baked to a deep golden brown, filling the kitchen with the warm, comforting smell of fresh bread. The result is a loaf that’s airy and chewy inside, with a perfectly crisp crust — the kind of bread that feels like home.
Sourdough takes patience, but that’s what makes it so rewarding. Around here, we believe good things are worth the wait.
Why Sourdough?
Sourdough is as wholesome as it is delicious. Each loaf is made with just a few simple ingredients — organic flour, water, and salt — and plenty of time and care. The slow fermentation gives sourdough its signature tang and airy texture while making it easier to digest than most breads.
Many people with mild gluten sensitivities find they can enjoy sourdough comfortably, thanks to this natural process. It’s real bread, the way it’s meant to be — simple, nourishing, and full of flavor.
