11:00 - The Monstsweagers

12:00 - Children's Book Character Costume Contest and Parade with Curious George. Parade will start at the Patten Free Library Children's Room entrance at 12:00. Judging will begin immediately following the parade.  Presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning.

1:00 - Bath Book Bash BINGO! For kids only. Prizes awarded.

2:00 - 5th Annual Illustrator Draw-Off

3:00 - Bubble dance party

Workshop Tent

11:00 - "Underwater Wonders: Learning About Species Through Story and Art" with Katie Coppens. Katie will read from her new book, "Underwater Wonders" and kids will learn about  and draw some of the animals featured in the book.  Recommended for ages 7 and under. 

11:45  - "Ask Me Anything!" With Children's Book Editor, Alexandra Hinrichs. All your burning publishing questions answered - no sign up required. All ages.

12:30 - "Plenty of Pancakes Story Time and Draw Along" with Carrie Finison. Carrie will read from her book, "Plenty of Pancakes," then kids will get to create their own pancake toppings. Recommended for ages 3-8.

1:30 - "A Visit With Birds: Identifying Local Birds and their Calls" with Sara Levine. Learn about common birds that live in Maine with a hands-on, interactive workshop. All ages.

2:45 - "Spooky Stories 101: A Creative Writing Workshop and Ghost Bookmark Craft" with Nancy Tandon. Participants will be guided throught the process of writing a spooky story through a Mad Libs style workshop and  end with a make-your-own ghost bookmark. Recommended for ages 8-12.
