Important Notice: GPS Timestamp Camera & Batch (also known as BatchStamp) adds date, time, GPS location, logos and sequence numbers to photos — either photos you select from your gallery, or photos you take with the optional in-app camera. This app does not require account registration. Your photos are never uploaded; all stamping is processed locally on your device.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how GPS Timestamp Camera & Batch ("we," "our," or "the app") handles your information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Photos and Media (Processed Locally)
- Gallery Photos — You select photos from your device to be stamped. The app reads the image and its embedded EXIF metadata (date, time, and GPS coordinates already stored in the photo) only to create stamped copies. Photos are processed entirely on your device and are never uploaded to our servers.
- Camera Photos (optional) — If you use the in-app camera mode, the photo you take is processed on your device the same way and saved to your gallery as a stamped copy.
- Stamped Copies — New stamped images are saved to your device storage. Your original photos remain unaltered.
2.2 Location Information
- Gallery mode: The app reads the GPS coordinates already embedded in your photo's EXIF metadata in order to stamp the location and address onto the image.
- Camera mode (optional): When you take a photo with the in-app camera, the app requests your device's current location once, at the moment of capture, solely to stamp it onto that photo. The location is used only for the stamp: it is processed locally, never stored separately, never used for tracking, and never transmitted off your device. If location permission is denied or unavailable, the camera still works and photos are stamped with date and time only.
- The app does not track your movements and does not collect a continuous location history.
2.3 Analytics and Diagnostics Data
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand how the app is used and to fix crashes. This may include:
- Aggregated, non-identifying usage events (for example: app opened, a stamping batch started or completed)
- Device information (device model, operating system version, app version)
- Crash reports and diagnostic logs to improve stability
This data is used only to improve the app and is processed by Google. It does not identify you personally.
2.4 What We DON'T Collect
- Your name, phone number, or account credentials (no registration required)
- Continuous or background location tracking (location is used only at the moment of capture in camera mode, or read from your photo's EXIF in gallery mode)
- The content of your photos beyond local processing (photos are never uploaded)
- Contact lists or personal files unrelated to the photos you select
3. How We Use Information
The information accessed by the app is used exclusively for:
- Core Functionality: Stamping date, time, GPS location, address, logos and sequence numbers onto the photos you select or take
- App Improvement: Understanding usage trends and fixing crashes through aggregated analytics and diagnostics
- User Experience: Remembering your app settings and preferences
No Photo Upload: Your photos are stamped locally on your device. We never transmit, upload, or share your photos with external servers.
4. Permissions Explained
4.1 Photos / Media / Storage Permissions
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Access the photos you choose to stamp
- ACCESS_MEDIA_LOCATION: Read the GPS location already embedded in your selected photos' EXIF metadata, so it can be stamped onto the image
- WRITE / MANAGE storage (where applicable): Save the new stamped copies to your device
4.2 Camera Permission (optional)
- CAMERA: Used only when you open the in-app camera mode to take a photo for stamping. If denied, you can continue using the gallery-based stamping features.
4.3 Location Permission (optional)
- ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION: Used only in camera mode to stamp your current location onto the photo at the moment of capture. If denied, the camera still works and stamps date and time only.
4.4 Internet / Network
- INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to display ads and send anonymous analytics/crash diagnostics
4.5 Notification Permission
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Display processing or completion notifications (optional, Android 13+)
5. Data Storage and Security
5.1 Local Processing
- All photo stamping happens locally on your device.
- Original photos are never modified; stamped copies are saved separately.
- App settings are stored locally using Android SharedPreferences.
5.2 Data Security
- Photos are not uploaded to any server.
- Location data is used only for the stamp and never leaves your device.
- Analytics and crash data are transmitted securely to Google Firebase.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Security is maintained through regular app updates.
6. Third-Party Services
6.1 Advertising — Google AdMob
Our app uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect:
- Device identifiers for ad delivery and personalization

To request deletion of your data:
1. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data. Photos are never uploaded; all processing happens on your device.
2. To request deletion of analytics or diagnostics data associated with your device (Google Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or advertising identifiers), email us at hdytyldrm@hdytyldrm.info with the subject "Data Deletion Request — GPS Timestamp Camera & Batch". We will process your request within 30 days.
No account is required to use this app, so there is no account to delete.
9. Your Rights and Choices
9.1 Data Control
- Permission Management: Revoke permissions in Android settings at any time

9.2 App Removal
To completely remove all local data:
