Annual General Meeting
Wednesday 23rd September 2026 at 1pm.
All positions will become vacant and we need people to step-
up and volunteer for these roles.
Our Treasurer, Mary, has resigned so, we need someone good
with bookkeeping skills to come forward.
Myself and Terry plan 2027 to be our last year as President and
Vice President so we are looking for people to buddy - up with
us for the year to see how we run the organisation.
These roles are not hard if we have a great Committee (as we
have now) it is a matter of overseeing the whole show and
making decisions to further go forward.
The ‘55 Plus Association’ has grown so much over the past few
years and the activities have increased with good following.
For this to continue we need the right people for the jobs.
I feel, if we don’t get people to step-up we are looking at going
downhill or maybe the Town taking over and that would lead to
increased fees and members not having a say!
