This Privacy Policy describes how we collects, uses, and shares information when you play our mobile game **Basketball Shotter** (the "Game"), available on iOS and Android. By playing the Game, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
## 1. Information We Collect
**Device and advertising identifiers.** When you play the Game, we and our advertising and analytics partners automatically collect device information, including:
- Device model, operating system version, and language;
- Advertising identifiers: **IDFA** on iOS (collected only after you grant permission through the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt) and **Google Advertising ID (AAID)** on Android;
- Approximate location derived from device settings (e.g., country), used to comply with regional privacy laws and to serve regionally relevant ads.
**Usage and analytics data.** We use **Firebase Analytics** (Google) to understand how the Game is used, including sessions, features you use, in-game progress milestones, and crash reports. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
**Purchase information.** If you make an in-app purchase (such as removing ads or buying in-game currency), the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. We never receive your payment card details. We receive purchase receipts from the platform solely to verify, deliver, and restore your purchases.
**Game progress.** Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device. If you choose to sign in with a platform service (e.g., Google Play Games), your platform player identifier and display name may be used to save and restore your progress. We do not require an account to play.
**We do not collect** your real name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any other personal information you do not voluntarily provide.
## 2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Game;
- Display advertising in the Game (see Section 3);
- Measure and analyze usage so we can improve gameplay and fix problems;
- Verify and restore your purchases;
- Prevent fraud and protect the integrity of the Game;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
## 3. Advertising
The Game is ad-supported and displays advertising through **Google AdMob**. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent choices:
- **Personalized ads** use your advertising identifier (IDFA / AAID) and device data to show ads more relevant to you. On iOS we request your permission via the App Tracking Transparency prompt before using your identifier for tracking. On Android you can opt out of ad personalization at any time via *Settings → Google → Ads → Delete/Opt out of advertising ID*.
- **Non-personalized ads** are based on the content of the Game and your approximate region, without an advertising identifier.
You can learn how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps at: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
If you have granted consent and wish to change your advertising choices later, you can reset or delete your mobile advertising identifier in your device settings, or use the "Privacy Options" entry available for our Game (on GDPR-affected devices, reachable from the app icon or in-game settings) to revisit your consent choices.
## 4. Sharing of Information
We share the limited data described above only with the following categories of service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf:
| Provider | Purpose | Data shared |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob | Serving and measuring ads | Advertising identifier, device data, approximate region, IP address |
| Firebase (Google) | Analytics and crash reporting | Device data, usage events, crash logs |
| Apple / Google Play | Purchase processing | Purchase receipts, platform account identifier (only if you sign in) |
We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of us or others.
## 5. Data Retention
Analytics data is retained in accordance with Google's standard Firebase retention settings. Advertising identifiers persist until you reset or delete them in your device settings. Game progress stored on your device remains until you uninstall the Game or delete the Game's data.
## 6. Children's Privacy
The Game is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
## 7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR (EU/UK), CCPA (California), and other applicable laws, including the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you;
- Request deletion of your information;
- Withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time;
- Object to processing or request restriction.
We do not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Because we generally process only device-level and pseudonymous data, we may need details from you to locate the relevant records.
**EEA/UK users:** when the Game asks for your consent (the consent form shown on first launch), you may accept or refuse personalized ads, and you can revisit that choice at any time via the Privacy Options entry described in Section 3.
## 8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the limited data we process. Since the Game does not maintain user accounts, we store minimal personal information on our servers.
## 9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Effective Date". Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
