Introduction to Shoes Lift

Also known as shoe lift, or elevator insole/inserts, shoes lift can also be called footwear lift. Elevator Shoes is the originator of shoes lift. Elevator Shoes was founded in 1926. They found it difficult to make elevator shoes. Customers often request an insole to wear in normal shoes. This makes them appear taller. Some footwear manufacturers tried to remove the inner sole of elevator shoes and make it a standalone insole.

In the beginning, however, the lift inserts are uncomfortable due to the material and height of the insert. There are many elevator insoles on the market with different styles, heights, and materials. Elevator shoes can make you appear taller and slimmer, just like elevator shoes. A soft elevator insole may be able to reduce the pain from dress shoes for some people. A good elevator insole can reduce foot pain due to its additional arch support.

The width of shoe lifts is usually between 0.5 and 2.5 inches depending on the style and material. Inserts longer than 3 inches are usually very uncomfortable. You should not use insoles larger than 2 inches unless absolutely necessary.

Height lifts and heel lifts are two different things. Heel lifts can be used by people with different leg lengths. The added height is not for the weak. Some people also use shoes lifts as a heel lift. It all depends on your personal preference.

There are many types of shoe lifts Manufactures make insoles that can be used with various footwear. We now have insoles that can be detached or attached in different ways than in the early days.

Full-insole is for support of the entire foot. This is a normal insole, but the grade increases gradually from the front to the rear. Full-insoles are the most comfortable type of insole/insert due to their full foot support. This is not possible with all footwear. This requires that there is more space in the shoe's head.

The half-insole is only designed to support the heel of the foot. This type of insole is not as comfortable as full-insole because it does not provide support for the front of the foot. Half insoles/inserts, however, are more adaptable. You can wear it in very light shoes.

Multiple layers:

Usually two to three. The insole can be adjusted to fit the wearer's needs. You can make a detachable or full-insole insole. Some people even put detachable insole into elevator shoes.

Lift inserts made of materials

Insoles for elevators can be made from four materials: wood, hard-rubber or soft-rubber.

Ø Wood

Because it is hard, wood is used for heel lifts. In the beginning, however, wood was used as a footwear lift. Shoes lifts made from wood are not currently being manufactured by any manufacturer.

Ø Hard-rubber

Heel lifts are mainly made from hard-rubber. Hard-rubber is preferred for shoes lifts because of its hardness, which is somewhere between soft-rubber and wood. This is also the most affordable material.

Ø Soft-rubber

Soft rubber is the most commonly used material in elevator insoles. Soft-rubber's only drawback is its smell. Soft rubber insoles have an unusual odor. The smell disappears once the insole is worn. Soft-rubber is a popular choice because of its softness.

Ø Gel

Gel is the most up-to-date material for shoes lift. It was also used to make body plant material. It has a slight petrol scent when new because most shoes lift gels are low-class silicon gels. This material is the most comfortable for shoe lift. It's also the costliest.
