This policy outlines how we handle your data to ensure transparency and integrity as we expand our services to include personalized ads and premium subscriptions.
In addition to the local habit data stored on your device and the Android Backup Service, we now collect and share certain data to provide advertising and subscription services:
Advertising Identifiers: The application uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob), which automatically collects your Android Advertising ID (AAID). This identifier is used to serve personalized ads based on your interests and past interactions with other apps.
Financial and Transaction Data: When you purchase a subscription, Google Play Billing collects transaction details including the date, time, and amount. We receive confirmation of your purchase to unlock ad-free access and premium features, but we never see or store your credit card numbers or full banking details.
Technical & Usage Data: AdMob and Play Billing automatically collect IP addresses (for general location estimation), app launch events, and diagnostic information to prevent fraud and ensure service stability.
We believe in user sovereignty. You have complete control over how your data is used for advertising:
Opt-Out of Personalization: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time in your device settings under Settings > Privacy > Ads.
Consent Management: Upon opening the app, you will be presented with a consent dialog. You may choose to accept personalized ads, see non-personalized ads, or upgrade to the ad-free subscription to remove tracking entirely.
We do not sell your personal progress or habit history. However, data required for ads and payments is shared with our third-party provider, Google.
Google AdMob: For ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention.
Google Play Billing: To process your subscription and manage your "Ad-Free" status.
Habit Data: Remains under your control and is deleted if you clear your app data or uninstall the app.
Ad Data: Google anonymizes ad log data by removing parts of the IP address after 9 months and cookie/ID information after 18 months.
Subscription Data: We retain record of your active subscription for as long as your account remains active to provide continued access to premium content.
