Purpose
The BAS- SIG was created with the mission to bring together individuals who work in the area of, or have an interest in, the application of behaviour analysis in Ontario's publicly funded schools with the purpose of information sharing, advocating, and disseminating best practices.
Specifically, the BAS- SIG aims to:
Serve as a scientific and professional reference and networking group for its members.
Disseminate information to promote its mission to a wider audience.
Organize an annual meeting to provide a forum for discussion of the affairs of the SIG.
Establish guidelines and consistency for the delivery of behaviour analytic services in publicly funded schools.

The BAS-SIG is a newly established Special Interest Group of the Ontario Association for Behaviour Analysis (ONTABA). The group launched in Winter 2024 and we are proud to share that since it's development, we have welcomed almost 100 members to our group!
