Founded in 1999 by Pedro Barrera, Barry Auto Repair has proudly served the Albany Park community as a family-owned and operated auto repair shop. While the neighborhood has changed over the years, our commitment to honest, dependable service has remained the same.

We believe that trust is earned. That's why we take the time to properly diagnose every vehicle instead of replacing parts based on guesswork. We never believe in unnecessary repairs or upselling. Our goal is simple: explain the problem clearly, present your repair options honestly, and help you make the decision that's best for you and your vehicle.

Our shop is staffed by experienced, bilingual professionals who are committed to making every customer feel informed and comfortable throughout the repair process.

Leading our team is head mechanic Art, who has worked in the automotive industry since 1990. Throughout his career, he has completed extensive technical training, continually investing in his education to stay current with evolving automotive technology. The knowledge, hands-on experience, and commitment to quality workmanship he has built over more than three decades continue to define the service we provide every day.

At Barry Auto, we know that choosing a repair shop is about more than fixing cars, it's about finding people you can trust. For over 25 years, we've built our reputation one honest repair at a time, and we're grateful to continue serving generations of families throughout Albany Park and the surrounding communities.
