Below we provide videos demonstrating the BarrierBypass attack in the across-window and across-door scenarios. We use the single word "Joke" command to clearly observe that the correct response is given from each smart speaker (e.g., a joke is told). The commands were generated with the TTS-M1 speaker voice and played at 85 dB. *Notice that the command audio is barely audible in the across-window videos while the smart speaker audio (~75 dB) is very loud). This demonstrates that the audio from outside is severely dampened after passing the barrier.
