Together, we can build a thriving community that balances economic growth with our cherished small-town character, all while ensuring our infrastructure supports generations to come. Our success depends on meaningful engagement from all residents and proper recognition of the volunteers who form the backbone of our town's spirit.

Building Economic Vitality

Smart redevelopment and downtown revitalization are essential to Chatham's future prosperity.

• Bolster our tax base through strategic economic development

• Bring sophistication to our approach on development projects

• Bridge the gap between vacant storefronts and thriving businesses

• Blueprint infrastructure improvements and traffic solutions for our growing community

Balancing Growth and Tradition

As we grow, we must maintain the character that makes Chatham special.

• Preserve our community character, walkability, and safety

• Maintain our small-town charm and excellent schools

• Build strong partnerships with first responders

• Balance development needs with historical preservation

Broadening Community Engagement

Our borough thrives when everyone participates in shaping our future.

• Boost participation through inclusive decision-making processes

• Bridge divides by focusing on what unites us rather than what divides us

• Build open dialogue channels for all residents

• Bestow proper recognition on volunteers who make Chatham great

• Bring diverse perspectives into our community conversations

Binding Our Community Together

A thriving Chatham depends on celebrating contributions from all corners of our community.

• Benchmark volunteer recognition programs to ensure proper acknowledgment

• Boost support for our dedicated borough employees

• Bring diverse residents together through community events and initiatives

• Build partnerships between schools, businesses, and community organizations
