There are many options that can meet your busy schedules and still be a huge help. Please feel free to ask us how to get involved
EVENTS, PROGRAMS, FUNDRAISERS
❏ MEMBERSHIP - Encourage participation in Barr PTA by getting involved, making a difference, and supporting our school community.
❏ PICTURE DAY - Help with capturing student photos and ensure a smooth flow during the photo sessions.
❏ HALLOWEEN HOWL - Chaperone and help us make this spooky event fun and safe for everyone.
❏ SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR - Help set up/strike down, and staff the book fair while students and staff are shopping.
❏ HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE - Set up boutique, check and replenish inventory, and help students shop for items.
❏ BOX TOPS FUNDRAISER - Download the app to easily track and tally Box Tops by scanning receipts throughout the year.
❏ FOUNDER’S DAY - Reach out to Barr MS and 5-6 Academy families for prepared dinner tray donations for Founder’s Day dinner as well as seek lifetime membership nominees.
❏ DONATE -Water and snacks to help us keep our events running smoothly. Your contributions are greatly appreciated!
❏ 8TH GRADE END OF YEAR EVENTS - Coordinate the dance (including invitations, decorations, chaperones, setup, and cleanup) and create the Moving Up slideshow. We welcome 5th, 6th, and 7th grade parents to get involved and help make these events memorable!
❏ FUNDRAISING - Assist with reaching out to businesses for sponsorship and donations to be raffled off at fundraisers as well as restaurant nights. Help plan and coordinate activities for the fundraising event
