Who is Dame SæhildR?
Dame Sæhildr barngóðr (pronounced Sa-hillder barn-go-ther - both kind of rhyme with "sir") is a 10th Century Dane/Norsewoman who wears vibrantly colored apron dresses. She is known for her creation of the Middle Kingdom Event It Takes My Child to Raze a Village and making peg dolls that bear a resemblance to certain royal and noble persons. Most children (and many adults) call her "Dame Silly."
SæhildR barngóðR was born late summer two winters after the birth of Gamle Eirikssen (the eldest son of King Eric Bloodaxe) about mid-Tvímánuður. Her curly mop of hair is frequently in two braids that rarely hang evenly.
In the SCA, she lives in the Canton of Wealdlake, which is located in North Woods (the oldest Barony in the Midrealm), in the Region of Pentamere. SaehildR joined the SCA in 2001 after coming home from her freshman year of college to find her entire family in a community theatre production of Camelot. Some members of the SCA happened to also be in the show and invited the family to their first "event" - the 2001 Howell Balloonfest Demo (which no longer happens). She served as a go-fer and entertained children with songs she learned as a summer camp counselor. Her first "real" event was Val Day in 2002.
She has been a member of House Ironwolf since Pennsic 35.
In February 2016, SaehildR became a protege to Master Maximilian der Zauberer, (OP and MOD). On August 11, 2022 in the Pennsic Court of Runa & Arch she was put on vigil for the Order of the Pelican and made a Baroness of the Court. On September 10, 2022 (the day after her fortieth birthday) she was recognized as a Companion of the Order of the Pelican.
She enjoys thrown weapons, retaining, making Peg Dolls, gaming, learning how to do stuff, serving in a myriad of ways, singing, creating largesse, and chatting with anyone.

Personal Statement about Children in the SCA
The Children of our Kingdom are our Future AND our Present. It is our duty to ensure that they feel safe and recognized as important members of the Midrealm. They are a precious treasure and capable of contributing to our Society in a great many ways.
